Position Description

Love + Chew Brands is seeking an Operations Manager to join a small team for a fast-growing company. This position will manage order fulfillment, inventory of raw and finished goods, source and purchase high quality ingredients, manage logistics for raw materials and finished goods, and plan productions. This role is deadline-driven, goal oriented, and uses analytical skills to problem solve. The Operations Manager will report to, and work closely with, the Sr. Director of Operations + Supply Chain. This position will work remotely Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm PST, and may travel up to 20%. Must be based in the U.S.

Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate has experience in procurement and/or logistics (preferably in CPG industry) and is highly motivated to be a valuable contributor to a growing company. The Operations Manager should be self-directed, a data-driven decision maker, and have effective communication skills. This person will be expected to pivot quickly between tasks/projects as is normal for this industry. We are a growing company and this person will have a collaborative mindset who effectively receives and communicates feedback.

Job Description

• Manage inventory of ingredients, packaging and finished goods in multiple locations
• Buy ingredients/packaging as needed and manage relationship with suppliers
• Source new ingredients and suppliers for projects and cost savings initiatives
• Find opportunities for cost savings
• Packaging Development and Design
• 3PL Interaction
• Be the point of communication between our internal team and 3PL
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes
• Manage inventory for DTC orders and B2B orders
• Oversee/manage all order fulfillment
• Logistics
• Work with team to manage shipments for raw materials/ packaging/ finished goods
• Work with team to manage customer shipments (FTL, LTL and parcel)
• Identify new carrier opportunities
• Work with our manufacturers and plan productions based on incoming demand
• Provide weekly/monthly KPI reporting and analysis
• Manage distributor chargebacks and disputes
• Accepts responsibility for the organizational goals by taking ownership of new and different duties and identifying new opportunities for growth and improvement

Qualifications

College Degree or 3 years work experience in similar field required

Experience in purchasing and operations required

ERP experience required; QuickBooks preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, most importantly Excel

Experience performing with a sense of urgency in matters related to success of the business

Solid organizational skills and ability to handle multiple and ever-changing priorities

Comfortable working remotely
