Corbion hires 2 new business development managers
GORINCHEM, THE NETHERLANDS — Corbion announced the appointment of two new business development managers. Bart Boomsma will serve as the new business development manager for Animal Nutrition and Lenaïg Richard-Breivik has been hired as the new business development manager for Aquaculture.
Boomsma will play a critical role in increasing Corbion’s growth in the pet and livestock sectors and Richard-Breivik will help drive the company’s growth and innovation in the aquaculture industry.
Boomsma brings a strong background in technical sales, product management and animal health and nutrition to his new role. During his previous tenure with Corbion from 2009 to 2015, he served as a technical marketing specialist. Following his time at Corbion, he continued to serve the animal nutrition sector in roles at Palital Feed Additives and AHV (Animal Health Vision).
As the new business development manager for Animal Nutrition at Corbion, Boomsma will leverage his past knowledge and experience to help Corbion expand its presence in the pet and livestock markets, and deliver innovative and sustainable solutions to meet the industry’s evolving needs, according to the company.

Richard-Breivik brings to her new role 13 years of experience at Skretting, a Nutreco company, where she worked in research, product management, marketing and business development. With a Ph.D. in shrimp nutrition, her previous experience includes leading R&D projects for shrimp nutritional solutions, managing global feed products, and leading strategic growth initiatives in early-life nutrition for both fish and shrimp species. She will apply this expertise to her new role to help expand Corbion’s presence in the global aquaculture market.
