Hambrick named business development officer, Grussing promoted to market president at Cornerstone Bank – Grand Forks Herald

FARGO, N.D. – Cornerstone Bank has announced that Jim Hambrick has been promoted to business development officer in Fargo. Hambrick not only brings local expertise to his new position, but he also has a wealth of banking experience.
Hambrick joined Cornerstone Bank in 2014 as a business banker and also oversaw the Cash Management Services. In 2020, he was promoted to market president. Hambrick will continue to serve as support and a resource for the Fargo market while overseeing the Cash Management Sales Team, according to a release.

Hambrick is an active member in the Fargo community currently serving on the boards of the Ascensus Trust Company, Beyond Shelter, and Dakota Business Lending. He is also very dedicated to NDSU, serving on the boards of the NDSU Foundation, Team Makers, and College of Business.

While Hambrick moves into business development, Ryan Grussing has been chosen as the new market president in Fargo. Grussing is committed to supporting the continued growth and success of the Fargo-Moorhead area. Grussing joined Cornerstone Bank in 2009 as a credit analyst, was promoted to business banker in 2010, and to business banking manager in 2023, the release states.
Grussing is an active member in the community serving as the president of Kindred Area Dollars for Scholars, volunteering with the Salvation Army and United Way of Cass Clay, coaching youth basketball, and serving on multiple Oxbow Country Club committees. He previously served as board chair for Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest and director for the Dakota School of Banking.
“Ryan steps into the market president position with a great deal of experience in helping customers succeed. I am confident he will be a strong leader not only for the organization, but in the Fargo community with his new position,” Thomas said.
