Oct 7 | Greg Kurinec, Pennant Planning to Host Free ‘Financial Intelligence’ Class To Prepare for Retirement
Greg Kurinec, a certified financial planner and founder of Pennant Planning, will host a free retirement planning educational session titled “Financial Planning: Putting It All Together” at the Clarendon Hills Public Library on Monday, Oct. 7, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Attendees will learn how to optimize their savings, manage income sources, and make informed decisions for a financially secure retirement. Whether you’re nearing retirement or planning ahead, this event is designed to provide essential guidance for a successful financial future.
“As people approach retirement, it’s natural to feel a mix of excitement and uncertainty,” said Kurinec, a Chicago native. “My goal is to offer clarity and peace of mind, helping individuals navigate this pivotal stage of life with confidence. Everyone deserves to enjoy a secure and fulfilling retirement, and I’m here to guide them through the process with compassion and expertise.”
Kurinec is a dedicated volunteer with the Society for Financial Awareness (SOFA), AARP, and the Financial Planning Association. He hosts these workshops to empower community members with the knowledge needed for a successful retirement. He encourages anyone within 10 years of retirement to attend and gain valuable insights on planning for their future.
“Navigating retirement can be overwhelming, but financial intelligence is crucial to making informed decisions,” Kurinec said. “This class is designed to empower retirees and those nearing retirement with the knowledge and strategies they need to safeguard their futures. My goal is to equip them with the tools and insight to confidently enjoy a secure and fulfilling retirement.”
Registration is encouraged and can be found here.
In an era where myths and misconceptions often obscure the realities of retirement planning, this program delivers clear, unbiased information in a purely educational format, ensuring attendees receive personalized, top-tier advice tailored to their unique needs.
“This course is not about selling products or pushing agendas; it’s about empowering people to make well-informed decisions for their retirement,” said Kurinec, who has 18 years of experience in financial planning and retirement guidance.
“My main goal is for attendees to better grasp their preparedness for retirement and learn what areas they need to focus on the most,” Kurinec added.
