PERKASIE, Pa. – The Pennridge School District has announced the appointment of two new directors on Wednesday, a director of teaching, learning, and assessment, and a director of operations.

Craig Bramble is the district’s new director of operations. Bramble has been the assistant director of operations at Pennridge since 2020, according to the press release.

Bramble will be succeeding Kelly Harper, who resigned from the school district in January.

Pennridge Superintendent Angelo Berrios praised Bramble’s work ethic over the years in a press statement:

“Throughout his tenure as assistant director of operations, Mr. Bramble has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to operational excellence, ensuring the seamless functionality of our facilities while prioritizing the needs of students and staff. While serving as the assistant director of operations, he gained experience and a strategic approach to operational management, which will facilitate a smooth transition into this leadership role.”

“I’m excited to put forth my style of leadership and teamwork-driven initiatives. I am a firm believer in the “it takes a village’ mindset, so I enjoy collaborating with others to achieve our goals. This is not only my job, but my community I live in, so I look forward to representing the district to the best of my abilities,” Bramble said.

Jennifer Bloom is the newly appointed director of teaching, learning, and assessment.

Bloom succeeds Kathy Brewster-Scheid, who is retiring after a career in education leading the Pennridge School District Department of Teaching, Learning, and Assessment for numerous years.

Superintendent Angelo Berrios said that he is excited about the qualifications that Bloom will bring to the department of teaching, learning, and assessment.

“She has a proven track record of excellence and an impeccable reputation as a top-notch educational leader. I am confident that her leadership will drive innovation and student achievement. We are very excited for her to join the Pennridge team,” Berrios said in a press statement.

“Pennridge is a district that values excellence, embraces growth

and is committed to preparing students for success in a changing world. I am

excited to be part of a community that not only prioritizes academic achievement but also invests in its educators, celebrates student potential, and fosters a love of lifelong learning,” Bloom said.
